Annual review 2018: Biggest order in the history of the company

12/2018 PFEIFER Group

2018 was a challenge to PFEIFER in many ways, as the company faced new tasks. After the Group re-organised internationally last year, this year's aim was to organise the content-related structure of the newly created divisions and to develop future-oriented strategy concepts. With success.

For instance, the PFEIFER Structures division was able to further expand its positive development in the North American market, in the Middle East and in Asia in the field of architectural lightweight construction. In addition, PFEIFER was awarded the largest order in the company's history: the roofing of a huge newly-built stadium in the USA. Thanks to this order, as well as to many other new projects, the PFEIFER 2018 project business has reached a historical all-time high.

Growth thanks to a thriving construction industry

Due to the good situation in the construction sector, the past twelve months have also showed an excellent result in other PFEIFER business divisions. Substantial growth has, for example, been able to be achieved in the construction-relevant product portfolio of the rope and lifting technology division.

At the same time the long-established company has pressed on with the digitalisation of its products and has introduced the new service system PFEIFER P-PLUS to the market. Further product novelties and innovations such as the PFEIFER Hybridbeam® or the new UMIX rope and tension rod system have also been launched on the market and will be presented to a wide public at the large building industry trade fairs in 2019.
